About Us

 East Kaweah Groundwater Sustainability Agency (EKGSA) is a joint powers groundwater regulatory agency that represents approximately 117,300 acres of the most productive agriculture in the world. Located within the Sierra Nevada’s Kaweah Watershed, EKGSA’s area is rich in natural wonders and prime agriculture land. 

EKGSA serves a community of people known for their commitment to family values and hard work. A people dedicated to continuing to produce food for the world, protect the economic lifeblood of the valley, and ensuring groundwater sustainability and groundwater safety for the environment and the people of the Kaweah Subbasin.
