The Water Dashboard now features tabs for managing End of Year Summaries, invoicing, fallowed land, and surface water credits. These new features are meant to support landowners in the data reconciliation process before Allocation Year 2022 invoices are sent out.
A digital copy of landowners’ End of Year Summaries for Allocation Year 2022 is available under the new “Billing” tab. A hard copy of this End of Year Summary was recently mailed to landowners. The information on the Summary will be used to generate invoices in the coming months. Before invoicing, landowners have the opportunity to reconcile data. The Billing tab currently shows landowners’ summary reports, but will show a digital copy of their invoice after the reconciliation period and invoices are issued.
On the “Manage Fallowed” tab, landowners can verify fields that are non-irrigated, grazing land, or fallowed land. If you have not already designated fallowed land in the Water Dashboard, you can do so now. Using the “Surface Water” tab, landowners can verify or add surface water credits by uploading their surface water delivery records.
Demo videos will soon be available to walk landowners through the new features.
If landowners have changes to submit during this reconciliation period, please contact Scott Maskell by emailing groundwater@ekgsa.org, or by calling (559) 697-6095. If landowners have not already created an account on the Water Dashboard, we encourage you to do so at www.gsawd.com.
The Water Dashboard is a tool created to reflect water use data at the farm level, arming landowners with information to respond to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).
