About Land IQ
Land IQ is a company contracted by the Kaweah Subbasin that uses a data-driven model to provide detailed, field-scale water use reporting. Land IQ’s model is used to calculate evapotranspiration (ET), the amount of water consumed by the plant through evaporation and transpiration.

About Land IQ’s Daily Irrigation Management Tool
Previously only 60-day historical ET reports were available to growers via the Water Dashboard, but Land IQ has created a new Daily Irrigation Management Tool, which delivers near real-time ET data to growers on landiqdaily.com.
Understanding ET every 48 hours rather than every 60 days as currently reported on the Kaweah Water Dashboard can help growers make real-time irrigation decisions for their farms. Because ET is based on actual consumptive use and not just how much water is applied, it offers a more precise picture of how water is being used on the field. Accurate ET readings help growers avoid surprises and confidently plan irrigation strategies.
