The Kaweah Subbasin GSAs – East Kaweah, Mid-Kaweah, and Greater Kaweah GSAs – are hosting a management team meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 9:00 AM to discuss technical information with the three GSA board and committee members. The management team meeting will discuss the technical revisions process for the three Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs), and what the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) and California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) probationary process entails. The public is invited to hear about how the Kaweah Subbasin GSAs are coordinating to keep groundwater sustainability in local hands.

The Kaweah Subbasin desires to keep groundwater sustainability efforts in local hands, and the Kaweah Subbasin GSAs are increasing coordination in the GSP revisions process through holding regular management team meetings. Technical consultants are working to revise their respective GSPs to meet DWR standards.

This meeting will be held both in person and online. In-person location, link to the online meeting, and agenda will be provided in the coming weeks.
