The East Kaweah GSA adopted a resolution to become a party of The California Association of Mutual Water Companies (CalMutuals) Joint Powers Risk and Insurance Management Authority (JPRIMA). The program offers liability insurance. Coverage is a 3-year commitment, and would be an upgrade to the agency’s current coverage. Insuring the agency is a direct benefit to landowners and growers by allowing the agency to carry out its roles at no additional financial burden in the event of damage, accident, or extreme event.
