The East Kaweah GSA Board of Directors approved the Allocation Year (AY) 2025 allocations at the July 25th board meeting. We applaud our growers for their hard work and ability to adapt to allocations since first rollout in October 2021. Your adjustments to groundwater use have been and continue to be a foundational element of meeting our sustainability milestones under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

Allocation Year 2025 Overview

Native Yield: 0.82 acre-feet per acre, no cost*

Precipitation Credit: 0.73 acre-feet per acre, no cost

Hard Cap: 2.5 acre-feet per acre, $500/acre-foot**

*$500 per AF for pumping over .82 AF and one for one reduction in 2026 allocation unless the groundwater between .82 AF and 2.5 AF is imported allocated groundwater
