Take advantage of this opportunity to evaluate and optimize your drip irrigation system at no cost to you. Partnering with the California Department of Water Resources, Cal Poly Irrigation Training and Research Center offers a comprehensive assessment of drip/micro irrigation systems. This free summer program allows growers to receive recommendations for system improvements while supporting hands-on learning for students.

Benefits for Participating Growers:

🌿 Evaluate System Quality: Obtain a detailed analysis of your irrigation system’s Distribution Uniformity (DU).

🔍 Identify Issues: Understand the root causes of any non-uniformity in your system.

âś… Receive Expert Advice: Consider recommendations to enhance system performance.

The Program Manager, Guy W. Bates, Ph.D., is a professor at Cal Poly specializing in Agricultural Systems Management and Water Resources Engineering. Dr. Bates and his team of students will conduct standardized measurements and tests, ensuring participating growers receive expert insights and recommendations.
