Kaweah Subbasin Growers: Attend a Webinar to Learn Land IQ’s Daily ET Tool

In partnership with East Kaweah, Mid-Kaweah, and Greater Kaweah GSAs, Land IQ is hosting webinars on March 12, March 24, April 8, and April 22 to help educate landowners on its new Daily Irrigation Management Tool. Land IQ’s new tool allows growers to view near real-time evapotranspiration (ET) data specific to their fields.

To support growers in adopting the new tool, the webinars will walk landowners through the tool, how to use it effectively to support farming operations, and how to incorporate insights into water management and irrigation practices.

Understanding ET every 48 hours rather than every 60 days as currently reported on the Water Dashboard can help growers make real-time decisions for their farms. Because ET is based on actual consumptive use and not just how much water is applied, it offers a more precise picture of how water is being used on the field. Accurate ET readings help growers avoid surprises and confidently plan irrigation strategies.

Look out for an email link to create a Land IQ account

This new tool is being made available to growers at no extra cost, but growers need to set up a Land IQ account to start accessing the information. Join an upcoming webinar to learn how to access your account and start using this information for smart irrigation.

Water Dashboard account users will receive an email from “Land IQ Irrigation Management” (noreply@landiqdaily.com) the second week of March to the email associated with their Water Dashboard account. The email will contain your unique link to set up your Land IQ .

We encourage you to use this link to set up your Land IQ account before the webinar. There will be a live tutorial during the webinar session if you need help. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it before the first webinar date.

If you do not have a Water Dashboard account and need a Land IQ link, staff can generate a link for you during the webinar so you can participate.
