Allocation Year 2022 payment period concludes
Allocations
November 6, 2023

The payment period for Allocation Year 2022 concluded on October 20, 2023, marking the last opportunity to reconcile Water Dashboard accounts and pay overdraft fees. The East Kaweah GSA staff thanks landowners who used the Credit Manager for reconciliation, which was designed to assist landowners in rearranging order of water use for the Allocation Year 2022 payment period.

If you have not reconciled your account or paid any overdraft fees, please contact Scott Maskell at 559-697-6095 as soon as possible. Failure to settle unpaid accounts will result in a lack of Allocation Year 2023 – 2024 allocations in your Water Dashboard accounts and exposure to future collection actions.

The East Kaweah GSA wants to ensure all landowners are in good standing. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call at 559-697-6095 or email groundwater@ekgsa.org to schedule an appointment. East Kaweah GSA staff will be glad to assist you.

Please note that East Kaweah GSA has been notified by several surface water purveyors of discrepancies with the Allocation Year 2022 surface water data they previously provided to East Kaweah GSA. East Kaweah GSA is making the necessary adjustments based on the updated surface water data for those who have reconciled their accounts and paid their overdraft fees. If these adjustments indicate that your overdraft amount was an error, you may receive a refund.

Additionally, during the East Kaweah GSA Board of Directors meeting on October 23, 2023, the Board approved a 33% evapotranspiration credit for olives. This credit may also impact some landowners’ accounts and result in refunds.
